How do I unlock the Dreaming City?

Well fambam, it looks like you want access to that fabled and mystical area known as the Dreaming City. The DARK SOULS of Destiny 2!

Step 1:

• Pay Bungo. You need to have Forsaken dawg, obvi.

Step 2:

• Beat the Forsaken campaign. You don’t get access to endgame shit without proving your worth to Bungo and RNGesus.
• Once you beat the Forsaken main campaign then talk to all your friends on the Tangled Shore. When you talk to Petra afterwords, you’ll get some shiny new goody called the Broken Awoken Talisman. This will be in your inventory with a yellow background showing it is an “exotic” style quest.

Real Step 1:

• Now you’re gonna get a silly riddle. This is:
• In a Rare Green Place
• In an old Corsair Hideout
• In the heart of Spider’s web
• These are literally just loot caves. Do the 3 loot caves in Tangled Shore shown in the picture below and you finish this step. Easy shit, buddy.

Real Step 2:

• Go back to Spider and get the Mended Awoken Talisman.
• Defeat 300 Taken
• This can be done anywhere, missions on IO are a good choice. I personally did it in 2 Gambit Matches, so if you enjoy Gambit hit that up. Or, if you got a buddy who is still working through the last Forsaken mission, that shit has mad Taken.

Real Step 3:

• Hit up your bestest buddy Spider and get the Semi-Charged Awoken Talisman.
• Do the Ether Harvest Public event. This event is in the Four Horned Gulch and is on the normal event rotation. You’ll know it’s the right one when it is NOT a Wanted enemy. It will be a little satellite looking thing with elite Forsaken attacking it. There will be 4 waves, each with a major / elite Forsaken. When you kill the Forsaken, white ectoplasm goo will shoot out of them and head toward the satellite at the center of the event. Shoot the goo before it reaches the satellite and you’ll trigger Heroic.

Real Step 4:

• Here we go hitting up Spider again, he’ll give you the Balanced Awoken Talisman.
• This will spawn a new mission at the top of Tangled Shore which will give you initial access to the Dreaming City.

Important Step 5:

• Make sure that you do the final mission to fully activate the Dreaming City once you spawn in there. This lets you do the Public Events, talk to Petra as a vendor, and patrols.
