What’s up fambam, Kerdack here to spin you another tall tale. Well, except this tale isn’t as tale as it is just what’s going on in the DestinyLootCave-iverse.
I want to be as transparent as I can with all you Guardians and Guardiettes, and let you know what is going on and what is on the horizon. I’m happy to say that yesterday (Tuesday), the site has started gaining traction with views. With the new domain name it took a while to get into the search engine in Google and Bing, and lots of boring web developer stuff, but thanks to shoutouts from Aztecross gaming and a few Reddit threads we’re finally getting the attention of Destiny Guardians. So hurrah!
Next you may have noticed the Bowsette drawing. Why is that a thing? Absolutely no reason! Why is that a shirt? Also, absolutely no reason!
I’ve been falling down the dark hole that is Bowsette like I’m sure many of you have, and her design is just so zany I had to draw it. Then I thought, wouldn’t it be fun to have he messing with Xur? So there you have it. That’s about it.
I’m really excited to announce that I set up a Patreon and put a few t-shirt links around the site! I can’t wait to see what I can create with this website, and I’ve always had fun making stupid t-shirts, so this is the first for DestinyLootCave!
What are the immediate plans?
While most people reading this blog are, no doubt, extreme level 600 sweaty Guardians… I want to get this site saturated across the Destiny 2 communities and search engines. That means that the content I am working on right now will be guides. These shouldn’t take me too long, but having guides for all the Forsaken exotic weapons should go a long way, plus it’ll become a nice resource for you to give out to scrubs you meet in Destiny.
After the exotic weapon guides I want to start focusing on things that YOU want.

One thing that I really want to add is a Fanart section. No, no, not fanart of my Guardian or cutsey art, just Destiny fanart in general. I think this would be a really cool way to bring in a unique interaction between everyone in the community. Of course, any fanart added to the section would have your name and email (if you want) so I’m not gonna try to claim it for myself.
BUT!
I have decided to issue a challenge.
Talking on my Discord I came up with a whacky idea, and stupid piece of fanart that I want… that I need… So, in order for me to open up the fanart section I must get this very specific piece of fanart. And it must be awesome, it must be quality, and because it is so specific and obscure I know that it hasn’t been done before:
I want a Fanart of Eris Morn and Mara Sov playing beach volley ball with each other.
In greater anime fashion, the thing that Destiny 2 lacks is the beach episode. Help me fix that. This is what I need to open a fanart section.
So if you or somebody you know is up to this challenge, get started. I will get an email set up for this by Friday, and will announce it on Friday. I want to see the bestest of the best art, that is why I’m not giving out the email yet.
